InfoStrategies-LC was founded in 1996 by businessman, Derek Tompkins. As an executive in the professional services industry, and educated in Information Technology, Derek recognized the economic forces driving IT investments. Frustrated by the lack of quality Information Management providers that actually understood business, he developed InfoStrategies.

Beginning as a general Systems Integration consulting firm in Dallas, InfoStrategies focused their efforts with business executives that needed to keep their systems operational, improve delivery and customer service. The company rapidly evolved into the full service provider of Professional Consulting and Managed Services that it is today.

In response to the latest initiatives for IT Security, InfoStrategies added a full line of Security Services in 2003.
